Realism vs. Relativism

Reality is the subject of study associated with the science of ontology , we discussed in previous articles about the framework of this discipline and the methodology that it uses but very little about the relationship between it and two very well known paradigms that might contribute to our understanding of ontology's subject of study .
When we want to bring in to discussion the subject of existence we must identify the "channels" that we will use to project our understanding of it , the paradigm known as realism tells us that the view of reality isn't conditioned by our personal experiences , level of education or cultural background .
This paradigm paints a homogeneous image of reality , erasing internal factors (experience, education, culture) .   Realism can be associated with the scientific world where everything is regulated by strict procedural norms and methodologies , subjectiveness being  unnecessary and harmful for overall relevance of scientific work .
This paradigm also sets a specific type of configuration for the fluidity of time ans space , giving a individual the possibility to analyze and validate actions and activities based on a atemporal(not conditioned by time)  and ahistorical(not conditioned by historic events) validation system. In this way , events have the same meaning to everybody ,  there's a unity of perception of events, actions and activities from both a structural and symbolic perspective. The unity of perception is the result of assimilating information from "qualified sources" , from specialists and scientific studies.
The realism paradigm can have a greater efficiency when it comes to practicality , setting a unitary and regulated mechanism of perception .
The relativist paradigm contrast the one we analyzed earlier , relativism claims that reality is multidimensional and a unitary view of it is impossible to reach . It is stated that reality is conditioned by a number of factors such as : education , life experience , cultural and economic background , religious believes , etc .
Reality and subsequently every action , activity and event is perceived differently as a result of the contribution of this factors , the idea of supreme truth is erased , validation has a internal character . Relativism is used in the arts where the description of reality has a highly subjective nature , the claims not having to be validate trough the methods used in exact sciences .
