Incarnation of Knowledge

Goddess Athens
The winds is a force that can't be seen , it dose not have a material body , we can notice it through the effect that its presence has on the immediate environment .
It is a phenomena which can be characterized , from a physical point of view , by it's fluidity , by it's ability to penetrate in the most obscure and narrow corners of nature and of man's constructed world . Its lack of a physical body gives it a unseen ability of spread through the environments that it reaches , knowing this , is easy to understand why in the occult sciences and even in some old religions , the element of wind was assimilated to the notion of knowledge and intellect .
Knowledge is as hard to define as  this element of nature , it dose not have  physical anthropomorphic body , a painted image , a sculpture which can represent its physical features. Because of this , humans created a carnal body for this concept so that it would become more understandable for all , so that it can look alike humans or at least to assimilate organic elements from the natural world.
But why dose knowledge needs a body made from flesh and bones? This situation is not only limited to the concept of knowledge , it the antique world and even in the modern one , man often attempted to create physical projections of abstract concepts , putting them in to human bodies , dressing them with garments , making them to act like usual mortals , making them to lack perfection in thought and action.
By putting such concepts in to a physical body they could manipulate it more easily , monitor it's actions , create and kill it , worship and rebel against  .  Man's  manipulative nature can be traced back as far as to the Stone Age , where he had to fight constantly predators of greater size and  power then him .
By manipulating and transforming the environment around him was a great advantage in his quest for survival . Fighting something with a physical body was hard but fighting against  something that dose not exist within a physical body was even harder. This way man projected in to his culture all kinds of evil beings , such as demons , evil spirits or fairies to make sense out of the darkness of the night , the time where he was the most vulnerable to attacks from his natural enemies .
Knowledge was made human in different forms , some cultures assimilated in to the concept of wisdom and gave it the shape of Apollo , Athena or Neith . This way knowledge can be controlled above all , it can be called upon , it can be worshiped or it can be blamed . It this manner , Knowledge can manipulated by the priesthood and distributed unequally , Knowledge can become a privilege and not a good for all mortals .
