Parks of Constanța, in late December (Photoblog)

Our overcrowded urban areas are true hotspots when it comes to stress and pollution related illnesses. The need for urban population and stress-free urban enclaves is more and more noticeable, parks, and green spaces in general, give us the opportunity of taking a breath of fresh ear without leaving town. The following images depict different areas from two of Constanta’s most popular parks – Tăbăcariei and Tineretului. This images are a true testimony to the power that men has to transform wastelands in to masterpieces of landscape architecture, this way creating an escape for those city dwellers that want to enjoy some moments of peace in the heart of nature, and also providing a habitat for plants and animals that are not indigenous to the land.
