Man and God - Interaction aspects

God , The Divinity ...the everything , as some would call it , is one of man's most intimate and fundamental dilemmas.  The concept of God was introduces to each of us at one point of our lives by His "earthly employees" which theoretically their core objective is that o spreading the teachings revealed to them by God himself .
A individual's knowledge of God plays a few important roles in the building process of personal identity , depending on the teaching of a religion , a individual knows what expectations he must live up to , what he must and must not do ...in fewer words , it stands at the base of our axiological system .
Other functions that man-God relationship plays are the following:

1. self knowledge and self discovery - Through teachings , doctrines and morals , God describes our origin and belonging . This plays a important role in a individual's design of his self image , it satisfies the need of belonging - in a direct way to the church and indirectly to the local community which subscribes to that certain believe system .

2. axiological system configuration - Religion gives a set of values which often are assimilated at a young age when "rational filters" aren't very well developed . The more fragile the age at which the religious education starts , the more efficient the assimilation of moral rules are and the axiological system has as primary source of values religious teachings.

3. Socialization - The way in which we build connection with others from our immediate environment is also regulated by religion . It can impose restriction on socializing with people from outside the church we are members of , people who are guilty of "sins" , sexual , racial and other minorities . It sets standards of behavior within the family too .

4. Traditionalism - The overall  openness to social change and to influences from the exterior environment .
